NCAA College Football Bowl Schedule
Sure, this is about sports big time. But it's about sports when even some of the most active among us turn into couch potatoes ... for the football bowl games.

For those who may not have been keeping up over the years, and still think that football bowl games mean an Orange here, a Rose there, a little Sugar, and maybe a Fiesta, some Cotton, and a Gator, this year's line-up will be nothing short of a shock. It begins on December 18th -- when North Texas (5-6) meets Colorado State (6-5) for the New Orleans Bowl at the Superdome [8 p.m. ET/ESPN2] -- and ends on January 3rd -- when Miami (11-0) will face a team not yet designated {at least as we go to virtual press here at DownStreet} in the Rose Bowl [8 p.m. ET/ABC]. And in between ... there are no fewer than two dozen more bowl games.

The amount of info on the web is enormous, as anyone who's ever tried to run a search can attest to. To put it all in context, best estimates say that only a fraction -- maybe 20 - 40 % of what's out there -- is actually making its way to the search engines.
