What Surrounds Us:  A Sunday Drive to Richmond

It was the 10th of June, what started out as a beautiful day here in Bristol, just the way the day before had been.  ...  But when we began to get up towards Hinesburg, it seemed like we were headed for trouble.  Storm clouds rolled in and we say a few flashes of lightening off in the West.  ...

But the prospects for a great Sunday drive were too good to let a few clouds interfere.  We went ahead anyway and, sure enough, the isolated storm passed, the clouds broke, and we spent a beautiful afternoon driving up to Richmond.  ...

The Saturday had been bright & gorgeous all day.  But on the Sunday of our drive, the  clouds began to gather once again.  ...

Thunderheads started rolling in from the West over Hinesburg and we thought for sure we were going to get rained out.  ...

But by the time we got up the Hinesburg- Richmond Road, the sun was getting stronger  ...  though the beavers may not have been convinced quite yet.   ...

Nonetheless, by the time we pulled into Richmond, the sun was shining strong again.  ...
