. Thanks
to Those Who Served ... Memorial Day is specifically for those vets who died in the service of their country. But this month, in Community Service, we'd like to take the opportunity to extend ******* ******* our
gratitude ******* ******* In addition, in keeping with this month's Memorial Day theme and our focus on the Civil War, we have a few photos of vets from Vermont, part of the sequence of Brady Studio photos of the Civil War. {See this month's Arts & Craft for more images from the War.} Finally, we're also providing links to an excellent Civil War site we've mentioned several times already in this month's issue -- Vermont in the Civil War, a "grassroots effort." There, among lots else, you'll find rosters of Civil War veterans who served from each of the towns in Vermont. We'll provide the links to each of the towns in our DownStreet neighborhood, but if you're interested in other towns, or The Civil War in general, you can visit this site through any of these links and look around.
