What Surrounds Us:  Walking the Dog

Winter or otherwise, our friends of the canine persuasion need their daily walks and exercise.  But let's face it.  Love 'em though we may, it's a much more pleasant task now that the warmer weather has arrived.  ...

This past month, we sent our newest DownStreet staff member, Aaron Wisniewski, camera in hand, out to hit the bricks to find those of you who were out there 'walkin' the dog'.  ...

His task was partly straightforward:  We wanted to get photos.  Easy enough.  But we also wanted to know what the dogs had to say, too.  Not because we were worried about being accused of being species-centric.  {We'll confess.  We probably are.}  But our sense of freedom of the press also involves a sense of fair play.  And it just didn't seem right to let the owners have all the say.

So, without further ado, allow us to present this month's What Surrounds Us ...

Walking the Dog
... or is it the other way around?
