The amount of info on the web is enormous, as anyone who's ever tried to run a
search can attest to. And, to put it all in context, best estimates say
that only a fraction, maybe 20 - 40 % of what's out there is actually making its
way to the search engines. Well ...
Here at DownStreet, we'd like to try to help. So each issue, we
post a few links in Music & Sound to sites that might interest you.
Sometimes the links will be related to one another ... sometimes
we'll just offer up a somewhat random sampling. In either case, we think
we might be able to help you find the kind of site you've been looking for.
Of course, while we can't vouch for the fact that every link we provide will be
of interest to everyone, we do our best to filter out the noise and the

Theater Web -- Regional Theater / New England / Vermont The
American Theater Web [ATW] site, which is a comprehensive resource for
things theatrical, also provides a series of thorough guides to regional
theatre. This one links directly to the listing for Vermont
theatre. ... . ATW lists theatres for Vermont large and small,
alphabetically by town, 24 in all -- from Bread & Puppet, the Barre
Opera House, and the Oldcastle Theatre Company in Bennington, through
Lyndonville's Twilight Players and Montpelier's Lost Nation, to The Theater
Factory in Underhill, Waitsfield's Valley Players, and the Weston
Playhouse. Click on any of the monthly icons at the top of the page
and you'll get a listing of what's playing for that month. If the
theatre group has a web site, you'll find the link, as well as a solid
little write-up and the repertoire for the current season. . All in

site is a personal page out of St. Mary's College in Notre Dame, IN.
It's a quirky little offering with a header title of Theatricopia, which, as
it's sub-title makes clear, provides an "abundance of links and more
for Musical Theatre fans." . What'll you find? Links
to: Shows ... Performers, Composers and Lyricists, and Other Musical
Theatre Professionals ... Magazines, Newsletters and Reviews ... Mailing
Lists and Newsgroups ... Recordings and Stores ... Multimedia &

Public Library for the Performing Arts: Theatre Resources on the Internet Let's
face it. Few resources can rival those of the New York Public
Library. And one of the wonderful things about the internet is that
you don't have to travel to Lincoln Center to get at some of the invaluable
resources the NYPL for the Performing Arts has to offer. . This page
-- which is a sub-page of a sub-page of a sub-page -- still contains enough
links to links to on-line resources to keep you occupied for quite some
time. Among the Theatre Resources pages you'll find links to ... Play
Indexes, Musical Theatre, On and Off Broadway, Acting, Full text Play
Sources, International Theatre Resources, Other Theatre Arts, including
