It's not only the sap in the trees that begins to flow this time of year.  ...

This month's selections include some of the classics of Rock 'n' Roll from the late '50's.

1958 ...

  • The first ever Grammy Awards are given.

  • The Hula Hoop has hips gyrating across the continent.

  • The Chevy Impala hits the market.

1959 ...

  • The music dies when a plane crash kills singers Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J.P. Richardson, a.k.a., "The Big Bopper."

  • The microchip is invented.

  • Barbie hits the market.  There's speculation that she'll be a boon for plastic surgeons.

  • BIC ballpoints are introduced.

The artists of this month's selections?  ...  If you have to ask, maybe you ought to be driving an Edsel.
