The Traditional Dish:  Lamb for Passover and Easter

In the midst of all the maple syrup to-do, let's not forget that we're on the verge of the some of the holiest days of the year -- Passover and Easter.  So, we thought we'd look at the traditional dish for those holy days:  Lamb.  ...

Since we've devoted this month's Links to Food & Dining On-Line to Recipes with Maple, we thought that, instead of our occasional restaurant reviews or other food writings, this time, we'd offer lots of links to Passover & Easter recipes on the net.  After all, these holidays are a time when meals are prepared at home, and eaten with one's extended family.

The links below, then, will take you sites offering recipes -- both traditional and otherwise -- for the Passover Seder and / or Easter.  The one requirement we did set was that the site should have a recipe for lamb -- the traditional dish for Seder and for many who celebrate Easter, particularly those of Middle Eastern, North African, or Southern European descent.  We followed that requirement in all cases but one ... the Kosher Cooking site.  We scoured hundreds of sites for you.  ...

Note:  Since some of the sites contain recipes for both Passover & Easter, we've divided them up into three groups:  Passover Recipes, Easter Recipes, and Recipes for Passover & Easter.

Enjoy!  ...
