Tulips Under the Quarter Moon

.

If I could only hear
the echo of time
the sounds of love
literally said
the bed of flowers
that springs equal
as the voice that speaks
tulips under the quarter moon.
From the ground to the stipend
that turns it well into mystery
freely ours into a new theater
a joy splendors
in knowing as refreshing as laughter.
How often the things we don’t remember
remind even bliss to forget.
Not to reinterpret history,
only let life lead on
on its own dance floor
that it may call upon you once more
to deliver the dawn, the rose
that blossoms there in your choice...
tulips under the quarter moon

Flores Sobre El Mar
A Song

Flowers over the ocean. Flores sobre el mar
Arrows in the sky. flechas en el cielo
The nightingale sings its song, golondrinas cantan su cancíon
But its song, it don’t ask why. mas su cancíon no pregunta por
   que.

Dafne became a treeDafne se convirtio en un arbol
so she could just receivepara así poder recibir
so she could believepara así poder ella creer
the eyes of her beholder.en los ojos de quien la mira.

Apollo is the sunlight,Appolo es la luz del sol
still the healer, still the lover, aun quien cura, aun quien ama
while the nightingale sings its
   song
golondrinas cantan su cancíon
its song it don’t ask why. mas su cancíon no pregunta por
   que.

Flowers over the ocean Flores sobre el mar
Friends in the sky. Amigos en el cielo
Apollo in the sunlight Apollo es la luz solar
the lamp within your eye. la luz qui tiene en tus ojos.
