conducting a Straw Poll to get our readers' votes on issues of interest or
importance. Not only that, but we'll be forwarding the results to
our elected reps. So, let your voice be heard

unthinkable to most of us, there have been calls over the years to do away
with Town Meeting, usually in favor of placing all questions on the
ballot. ... What do you think? Should

complete the ballot below. Note that we are asking for a valid
e-mail address. This is not to identify how particular
individuals voted, but to insure that no one tries to stuff the ballot
box. No e-mail addresses will be identified with particular
votes. We simply scan for valid e-mail addresses & duplicates,
eliminate the invalid & duplicates, then tally the results. We
also ask that you identify your town of residence, since -- for better or
for worse -- our legislators probably want to know how many of the votes
were from their constituents. Note: Our on-line
