The Vermont Farm Show 2001 was held this year on January 23rd-25th, over the ridge at the Barre Civic Center.

Folks who've visited our magazine in the last couple of month's may have seen our preview of the Show.  ...  But now comes the real news -- the winners of the various contests which the Vermont Farm Show sponsors each year.

For those not already familiar, the Contests include a number of contests in several major areas, including:  Home Products, Home Product Specialties, Honey, Christmas Trees, Wreaths, Apples, Eggs, Vegetables, Handspun Fibers, Silage, Hay, Maple Products, and Maple Syrup.

Of course, if you prefer such info in hardcopy, you can see the list, as well as other Ag news, in the February 1st issue of Agriview, the semi-monthly pub put out by the State's Food & Markets division of the Dept. of Agriculture.  ...
