Eventually, the second snow fell.  As with most early snows, this one was heavy.  ... This young spruce bowed under the weight.  ...

Even with snow, the weather had been fairly warm for mid-Autumn.  ... It hadn't become cold enough yet to even glaze this pond.  ...

But it couldn't last.  Eventually, the storm clouds came and stayed for a good while.  ... Here, after what seemed like weeks, they're still hanging over Bristol one November morning.  But the sun is trying to break through.  ...

And it actually does, though not for long.  ...

This sunrise shot was actually taken before the clouds rolled in full force.  ...   It seemed like a good idea to end with it, though.  ...
