The ledges and cliffs at North Beach can get pretty steep.  ... But we stepped to the edge for this shot.  ...

Eventually, the Snow Geese came to Dead Creek.  ... For years now, they've outnumbered the Canada Geese.  In fact, we didn't see any when we there.  ...

Even so, the Snow Geese were a beautiful sight.  ... Here, a few take off, only to land about a hundred yards away.  Maybe they were discouraged by the strong South wind.  ...

A few more followed suit.  ...

Then, suddenly, as they're wont to do, a massive flock took to the air.  ...
